Donald Norris, Jon Mason, and Paul Lefrere co-authored “Transforming e-Knowledge: A Revolution in the Sharing of Knowledge”, which captured the ongoing revolution in the sharing and use of knowledge in the Knowledge Age. We coined the terms “e-knowledge” and “e-knowing” to describe how knowledge is experienced in a profoundly networked, globally-connected world. Strategic Initiatives has partnered with Knowledge Media, Inc. to deploy a new generation of technology architectures in the creation of knowledge repositories, registries, and marketplaces that collect, repurpose, combine, and share knowledge resources in ways that transform traditional approaches to publishing and learning. The white paper “Knowledge Repositories and e-Knowledge Commerce” describes the new generation of e-knowledge applications.
Our thought leaders on Transforming the Use of Knowledge include Donald Norris, Jon Mason, Paul Lefrere, Robby Robson, Samuel Kirkpatrick, Joan Leonard, Lou Pugliesi, Jay Cross, Bill Redeen, Susan Kleimann, and Pat McElroy. This work on Transforming the Use of Knowledge has been supplemented by a continuing string of monographs, articles, and presentations by members of the Strategic Initiatives Team. Donald M.
