Since the publication of “Transforming Higher Education: A Vision for Learning in the Knowledge Age,” Donald Norris has been recognized as a thought leader in the emerging field of e-learning. Most recently, this thought leadership has been reflected by the leadership of Sherry Gevedon and Donald Norris in assembling several leading-edge companies in the e-learning field to form what we call The Dream Team for e-Learning. This assemblage has collaborated to create an innovative approach to e-learning that:
- Utilizes a new enterprise architecture based on e-knowledge;
- Makes all the knowledge in the enterprise available for learning;
- Creates, repurposes, and shares knowledge, achieving “enter once, use anywhere;”
- Aligns learning, leadership development, knowledge, and performance with enterprise mission;
- Dramatically reduces the cost of creating and repurposing knowledge and learning; and
- Leads and navigates the process of change to create enterprise-wide solutions.
The Dream Team is deploying these concepts in a variety of settings – government, education, and associations.
