William Redeen is the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) of Knowledge Media, Inc. (KMI), based in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a frequent speaker on knowledge management, learning management, e-learning and learning organizations, advocating knowledge reusability across the extended enterprise. He has also managed the development of a number of U.S. federal e-learning, e-commerce, knowledge management, performance support and distance learning strategic plans. Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from George Mason University, and as a Ph.D. candidate, has completed coursework and research in the Organizational Informatics Program at George Mason University. His principal research interest is the study of learning in complex organizations, and the planning for and application of knowledge management, learning management, human capital management, technology-based training, data visualization and performance support solutions. Bill is the author of the recently released book entitled, “Strategic Knowledge: The Art and Science of Organizational Learning in the Third Millennium,” and is a contributor to “Transforming E-knowledge: A Revolution in the Sharing of Knowledge.”
