Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized economist, consultant, and stager of thought leader and CEO meetings in a wide range of industries and settings. Dr. Malloch is Chairman and CEO of The Roosevelt Group, a world-class management company in Chestertown, MD, that stages thought leadership conferences and senior executive round tables for a who's who list of companies and media properties. Dr. Malloch pioneers global markets. His work with CEOs, business and government leaders to conceptualize projects and partnerships, provides critical information to understand and manage rapidly changing markets, government transformations, emerging trading blocs and strategic business relationships. He was deemed a “global sherpa” by Lady Margaret Thatcher and has been a cultivator of international business and thought leadership. Dr. Malloch was President of the World Economic Development Congress sponsored by CNN, “the common frame of reference for the world's power elite,” which focused on “Building the Integrated Global Economy.” He has served on the executive board of the World Economic Forum, which hosts the renowned Davos meeting in Switzerland. He was Senior Fellow and Vice President for all Executive Programs of The Aspen Institute, internationally acclaimed for its programs on leadership. He has held an ambassadorial-level position in the United Nations; he headed consulting at Wharton-Chase Econometrics; worked in capital markets at the investment bank, Salomon Brothers, Inc.; and served in senior policy positions in the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and in the U.S. State Department. He has taught at numerous prestigious colleges and universities and has received many distinguished awards, grants and fellowships. Dr. Malloch earned his Ph.D. in international political economy from the University of Toronto, has authored numerous books, articles, and corporate reports and appears frequently on television as an authority. He serves on a number of corporate and mutual fund, educational and not-for-profit boards and international and governmental advisory bodies.
