Rhea Blanken has been guiding associations for over 20 years, using her expertise in organizational change, expeditionary implementation, and the coaching of executives, staff, and volunteer leaders. Ms. Blanken is President of Results Technology, Inc. which she founded in 1982 to encourage and promote leadership, strategic thinking and volunteer service within the association community. She is the co-author of Facing the Future, an environmental scan report produced for the American Society of Association Executives Foundation, which investigated the trends impacting associations and Embracing the Future, a companion toolkit of future-directed exercises and activities. These ASAE publications set a new user-friendly standard for the future-directed knowledge to guide association executives, their staffs, and volunteer leadership. Ms. Blanken stages creativity-building workshops and innovation experiences for individuals, working groups, and organizational units. She stages these experiences in existing organizational workplaces and /or in remote locations. She has designed and conducted organizational retreats, workshops, and seminars for associations across the country producing extraordinary results by designing successful growth strategies for those associations. Her ability to quickly identify and absorb the distinctions that define the culture within which she's working creates the opportunity to go beyond any predictable linear progression. Rhea's direct way of working with diverse groups provides a climate where people can express their concerns and commitments while being coached to respond with potent solutions. Her clients have included the Urban Land Institute, American Psychiatric Association, National Food Processors Association, National Association of Homebuilders, American Council of Life Insurers, American Trucking Association (an ASAE Membership Marketing Campaign award winner), Direct Marketing Association of Washington, and American Water Resources Association. Ms. Blanken is an ASAE Fellow and a Past Chair of the ASAE Marketing Section. She has been a speaker at numerous annual ASAE meetings, virtual seminars, and allied society meetings. She also has written many articles for ASAE section newsletters, allied association magazines and to ASAE's Association Management magazine.
