Communities of practice are the fundamental organizational building blocks of the Knowledge Age.  Strategic Initiatives works with our clients to nurture the development of communities if practices and to leverage the knowledge resources created and maintained by these communities.

We have also guided clients in realigning their organizational structures to reflect the communities of practice that have arisen.  In our work with professional societies and trade associations, we have realigned the governance structure of the organization to focus on communities of practice.  We have also mobilized the association’s peer-to-peer networks to develop products, services, and experiences that are truly co-created by the members who utilize them.
